Wendy Cosier is an Adjunct Fellow with the School of Social Sciences & Psychology at Western Sydney University and works as a social worker in a non-government setting. Her social work role sees her engaging with families in Western Sydney in a range of case work and group work settings. Wendy has been working in the not-for-profit sector for 13 years, in the areas of disability and family support. Her work and social work study have seen her write two biographies of people with Down syndrome, as well as a book chapter reflecting on children’s consent in a child protection setting. Wendy loves thinking and talking about social work issues from a Christian perspective and is involved in her local Presbyterian Church.
