Dr Patricia Weerakoon is a well-known Evangelical sexologist and writer. Having trained in medicine at the University of Sri Lanka, she is passionate about bringing good holistic sexual health to all people through practical sex education, sex research and sex therapy. She has worked as a lecturer at the University of Colombo and the University of Sydney, and has published several popular books, including Teen Sex by the Book and The Best Sex for Life. Patricia’s writing and speaking has made her a recognised media presence and a highly regarded public speaker and social commentator in sexuality and sexual health. She is married to Vasantha, and their son Kamal is another one of our columnists!
