Dr Megan Best is a palliative care doctor and medical ethicist, who is currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Sydney. She has been involved in medical ethics for over 30 years and teaches at several tertiary institutions in Sydney. Megan is often involved in community discussion of bioethical issues including euthanasia, abortion, genetics, and assisted reproduction. She is the author of Fearfully and Wonderfully Made: Ethics and the Beginning of Human Life (2012) and A Life Already Started (2013).
